Description

The magic mushroom variety Transkei is native to South Africa and is one of the only mushrooms of the genus Cubensis known to grow on the African continent. Terrence Mckenna “Stoned Ape Theory” refers to fungi as being one of the catalysts for the doubling of the size of the human brain in less than 800,000 years, it is very possible that this is one of the fungi that hominid primates have consumed.

It is a moderately potent strain that produces body vibes, sensory stimulation, euphoria and bright visual effects, and a sense of social connection (very similar to the Malabar strain). It is a good strain for beginners, and often called ‘all-rounder’ or well suited for any application.

Transkei mushrooms are often lighter in color, with a thin, long, white asparagus-like stem and a small caramel-colored to golden-yellow cap. This strain generally has light sporulation and a moderate yield.
